Introduction of Flexible Workforce Model

Different from the traditional full-time employment model, the flexible workforce model enables enterprises to engage workforce flexibly based on their fluctuated demands for workforce.
Under the flexible workforce model, enterprises do not establish employment relationships with workforce. China’s economy is transforming into a service-based economy, as the service sector currently accounts for more than 52% of its GDP.
The core characteristic of a service-based economy is that a majority of the employed labor force are working in the service sector.
For example, in developed countries, labor force in the service sector usually accounts for approximately 72% of the total labor force. In the United States, such percentage could reach 81%. By comparison, in China, the percentage is only 39%. Therefore, the employment ratio of China's service sector has great room for improvement. The flexible workforce model is critical to the development of the service sector. China will face an explosion in demands for flexible workforce.
